Deutsch: Charles-Armand Trépardoux (26. Februar 1853 – 4. Mai 1920) war ein französischer Eisenbahningenieur, Konstrukteur, Dampfwagenbauer, Automobilpionier, Erfinder sowie Mitbegründer und Teilhaber an De Dion, Bouton & Trépardoux (später De Dion-Bouton). Er erfand, teilweise gemeinsam mit Georges Bouton, einen leichten Heizkessel für (auto)mobile Anwendungen, konstruierte verschiedene frühe Dampfwagen, darunter mit La Marquise von 1884 den ersten Rennwagen, und konstruierte die De Dion-Achse.
English: Charles-Armand Trépardoux was a railroad and steam engine engineer, and co-founder of De Dion, Bouton & Trépardoux. He was the brother-in-law of Georges Bouton. Their work for a light, and practical boiler was elementary for the founding and early success of the company that became De Dion-Bouton after his leaving. The rear axle he invented for steam cars is today known as the De Dion axle.
