The Mahasu Chalda temple in Mohana, sometimes referred to as the Mohana temple, is a two storey wooden temple in the Mahusu tradition of the Jaunsari people – a tribal tradition found near the borders of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. It is notable for its architecture and creative use of stone and wood together, as well as the syncretic display of Jaunsari iconography such as of Mahasu brothers legends along with Hindu iconography such as of Krishna, Shiva, Rama, Durga and others.
