Nederlands: Nadat het Nederlands voetbalelftal op zaterdag 25 juni 1988 Europees kampioen was geworden, werd dit team de volgende dag groots onthaald in Nederland. Er stonden massa's juichende mensen langs de route die de spelersbus aflegde van vliegveld Eindhoven naar Amsterdam. Er waren een miljoen mensen naar Amsterdam gekomen, om hun helden tijdens een rondvaart door de Amsterdamse grachten toe te juichen. Tegen de avond volgde de huldiging op het Museumplein. Op maandag 27 juni ontving Koningin Beatrix het team op Huis ten Bosch.
