English: The main entrance to the municipal ossuary known as Catacombes is located in a little green shelter next to the east pavilion built by Claude Nicolas Ledoux for the former barrière d'Enfer, departure point of the road leading southwards to Orléans. The short street section that crosses the Place Denfert-Rochereau is named Avenue du Colonel-Henri-Rol Tanguy since 2004.
