Built in 1900 and extended in 1905, the Carroll Block is a Queen Anne-style building designed by Gordon and Paunack. The building is clad in buff brick with a storefront clad in panels with a cornice featuring dentils and decorative pilasters, a cornice at the top of the building with brackets and dentils, stone trim, one-over-one windows, second-story oriel windows on the original section, stone belt coursing on the addition, tripartite windows on the third floor of the original section, and low-slope roofs enclosed by parapets.
