Carl Henry Schneider (1897-1976) was an aircraft mechanic at Roosevelt Field, and an aviator. He claimed to be a World War I flying ace with the Red Baron, but it appears to be a fabrication. (b. 2 June 1897, Hanau, Main-Kinzig-Kreis, Hessen, Germany - d. 22 March 1976, De Soto, Johnson County, Kansas, United States of America)
