Inscrit au titre des Monuments historiques par arrêté du 27 octobre 2015 (Journal officiel n°0095 du 22 avril 2016, texte n° 55).

Located south of the Saint-Trophime cloister the Canonical district which is accessed by a first Romanesque door called "door of the canons" dating from the twelfth century, the access to the cloister is through a second door dating from the fourteenth century.
