This is the prototype car for the Type 57 C with "Ventoux" coachwork by Carrosserie Bugatti, #57452, rebadged #57308 with engine #1C (1936). The car differs in minor technical details from stock Type 57 C. During the Paris Salon in February, 1936, it was in use as a demonstrator car. Afterwards, it was in the avenue Montaigne, Paris, dealership of Robert Benoist for the same purpose. The car was originally painted red.
