Perhaps one of the most famous cemeteries in Maine because of the monument to Colonel Jonathan Buck, this cemetery is listed on the map available through the town of Bucksport's website simply as "Buck." Note: cemeteries are a great place to encounter history, but never forget that they are considered sacred ground by many, particularly the families of those at rest in them. Please treat them with the utmost respect during your visits to them.
