Argiefdokumente dui aan dat daar tydens die Tweede Vryheidsoorlog (1901) 'n konsentrasiekamp vir swart mense langs hierdie stasie was, maar die presiese ligging daarvan is nog nie bepaal nie.
English: The Bronkhorstspruit train/railway station was initially situated on the NZASM line between Pretoria and Lorenço Marques, Mozambique. Archival material shows that a black concentration camp was located next to this railway station during the Anglo-Boer War (1901), but its exact location has not been determined.
