English: Power car 43102 was delivered in October 1978 as part of High Speed Train set 254024 and renumbered 43302 in April 2008. On 1 November 1987 it set the world diesel train speed record of 148.5 mph. When withdrawn in 2020 it was presented to the National Collection. From June 1984 until October 1987 it was named City of Wakefield, from December 2001 until September 2003 it commemorated HST Silver Jubilee, and from January 2007 until August 2009 it was Diocese of Newcastle. In October 2017 it was fitted with plates recording its world speed record.
