English: D5836 entered service with British Railways in April 1962 and was numbered 31303 in the TOPS series from March 1974. In December 1984 it was fitted with electric train heating (ETH) and renumbered 31458 although the ETH was isolated from May 1990 until April 2001 so during this period it was running as 31558. From March 1993 until January 1997 it was named Nene Valley Railway. It was withdrawn in March 1996.
