English: D3854 entered service with British Railways in October 1959 and renumbered into the TOPS series as 08687 in February 1974. In September 1987 it was rebuilt with lower bodywork and renumbered 08995. It was named Kidwelly in November 1987 but this was removed in 2013 and sold for industrial service.
