Deutsch: Die Straße wurde um 1900 als Teil der Seelhorststraße angelegt. In der Villa an Ecke der Ludwig-Barnay-Straße wohnte Paul von Hindenburg (nach dem das Zooviertel auch Hindenburgviertel genannt wird). Erst 1950 wurde die Straße umbenannt nach Hannovers Partnerstadt Bristol.
