The 'Boston Gang' was a group of dealers that produced bogus and fake stamps. Among members were Samuel Allan Taylor, Lyford Charles, F. Triffet, and James Chute. Bogus issues were produced from 1860-1890 of Canada, El Salvador, Germany, Great Britain, Guatemala, Haiti, Hawaii, Paraguay, USA and other countries.
