The 747-400BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter) and the 747-400BDSF (Bedek Special Freighter) are converted standard passenger 747-400s and are not designated -400F. Both feature the stretched upper deck (SUD) introduced with the 747-300. Neither the 747-400BCF nor the 747-400BDSF have a nose cargo door.
The 747-400F (Freighter) is the all-freight version of the 747-400. It features the original short upper deck found on the classic 747s and has a main deck nose cargo door.
