- English: Bliss Electrical School was founded in 1893 in Washington, D.C. It later moved to Takoma Park, Maryland. The school was founded by engineer Louis D. Bliss. The school trained electricians and engineers in the US Army and Navy. It merged with Montgomery College, in Takoma Park, in 1950.
