Urfa Kapı or Urfa Gate, the well-preserved but only remaining member of a group of four in the city walls that date from 1453 and can reach 30 to 40 meters. A notice at the nearby Tekke Mosque indicates it was built in that year by the Mamluk sultan Kayitbay.
