Members of the Kaibab National Forest, City of Williams and Coconino County gather together to celebrate the signing of the final decision for the Bill Williams Mountain Restoration Project. The signing took place at the Williams Ranger District office in Williams, Ariz., on Dec. 10, 2015. The decision allows the Forest Service to begin fuels reduction projects such as thinning and burning to help prevent high-intensity wildfire that could threaten the City of Williams, its drinking water, and other important infrastructure.
