English: Benjarong (Sanskrit baunch five, and rang colours), fine porcelain of Thai design in five primary colors - red, blue, green, yellow and black - so called pentachromatic porcelain.Produced in China based on designs by Thai artists, produced exclusively for export to Thailand. Benjarong production started in the 17th century (Ayutthaya period) and lasted until the 19th century. Elements of Canton pink rose designs.
