The Brethren assembly meeting at this Gospel hall was Open Brethren in character. A building on Chapel Road was used between 1887 and 1923, then the former Oddfellows Hall on Clifton Road from 1923 until 1928; they moved here in that year. Prior to that it had been used by two different Baptist groups. It closed around 2009.
