English: Beamish Cog Railway is a 7 1/4 inch miniature railway on the Beamish Museum site. It is not part of the main museum, being run separately by the Beamish Model Engineering Group, but it is included during some of their events, such as the 4 day festival of steam. It's based in Coghill Engine Works 54°53′10″N 1°39′57″W / 54.886003°N 1.665746°W / 54.886003; -1.665746, located behind the Regional Resource Centre, next to the centre's NW corner. A level section runs from Coghill station next to the engine works, along the back of the centre, to Dipwood Halt, where there is a turntable 54°53′11″N 1°39′53″W / 54.886287°N 1.66459°W / 54.886287; -1.66459. The cog section runs north from Coghill alongside the adjacent road, where a steel viaduct has been built 54°53′11″N 1°40′00″W / 54.886521°N 1.666583°W / 54.886521; -1.666583.
