English: Bay of Naples was an iron-hulled full-rigged ship built in 1875 by Alexander Hall & Co, Aberdeen for James Buloch, London. Dimensions: length: 266.6 ft (81.2 m); width: 39.3 ft (11.9 m); depth: 23.7 ft (722.3 cm) . Tonnages: 1,503 GRT, 1,446 NRT and 1563 tons under deck. 1897 sold to Rederibolaget Trio (Moe & Ceder), Vasa, Finland, and was renamed Triton. In 1914 she was dis-masted and damaged in a storm off Rio de la Plata and abandoned. The crew was rescued by the German steamship Alexandria.[1][2]
