    "​The Bartolini company was come up in 1955, with Alvaro leaving from F.lli Bartolini company [Fratelli Bartolini ?]. At the beginning, the production was entirely focused on the accordion, until the demand for electric guitars led Alvaro Bartolini producing the first samples designed with Benito Cingolani at the beginning of 1960. / The ways, however, were separated before the product launch; Cingolani took away samples from the laboratory of Bartolini for starting its own production.
