English: The Barber Leather Company was founded in 1831 to convert raw leather into fancy colored or patterned leather used for purses, furniture, suitcases shoes. The factory building at 60 Union Street, in the Willow Dell neighborhood of North Adams, Massachusetts was built in 1892 in the Italianate style, with additions made between 1895 and 1908 which doubled its length. After the mill closed, the building was used for paper storage, and is now abandoned. (Source: [1])
