English: A tortoise-borne stele in Baotong Temple (Baotong Chan Si), a Buddhist Temple in Wuhan, commemorating the renovation of the Daxiongbao Hall of the temple in 2006. The bixi pedestal may be contemporaneous with the inscription, or it may be much older, since it's not unusual to reuse stone turtles for new inscriptions.
