English: The Port of Banate (Tagalo: Pantalan ng Banate; Hiligaynon: Puerto sang Banate) serves as the main seaport of entry for cargoes and passenger boat activities for the town of Banate in Iloilo, the Philippines. It has an important role in trading merchandise and goods between the island of Negros and other neighboring localities. The Port of Banate is part of the Banate Bay situated in the central part of the province of Iloilo and is bounded by the island of Negros in the east. It is very close to the Municipal Hall and a short distance away from Banate Public Market. Rice, coconuts, bananas, kasag (blue crab), livestock, poultries and grains are the prime commodities loaded for transport from this port.
