The Turkish Avnillâh class of Central Battery ships consisted of the Avnillâh and the Muîn-i Zafer, both launched in 1869 and serving from 1870. Avnillâh was sunk by the Italian armoured cruiser Guiseppe Garibaldi in February 1912, and Muîn-i Zafer was withdrawn from active service the following year.
