English: This statue of Avalokitesvara was found in a tin mine belonging to Anglo Oriental, at Bidor in Perak in 1936. It is made of bronze and has eight arms of which, however, one is broken. It is dated sometime between the 7th and the 12th centuries AD, when the culture of the region was Hindu-Buddhist. The statue weighs 63 kilograms and stands 93 cm high. This artefact is declared as Tangible Heritage Object under the National Heritage List 2009.
Bahasa Melayu: Avalokitesvara. Patung Buddha Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara mempunyai lapan tangan tetapi dua daripadanya telah patah. Patung yang dibuat daripada logam gangsa ini telah dijumpai di sebuah lombong bijih timah Anglo Oriental, Bidor, Perak pada tahun 1936. Patung ini telah wujud mengikut pertarikhan pada kurun ke 7 hingga ke 12 Masihi zaman peradaban Hindu-Buddha. Berat patung ini ialah 140 paun dan tingginya 93sm.
