The Austin 7 Pearl was a version of the Austin 7 Ruby saloon configured as a cabriolet having fixed cant rails with a rolling and folding roof between them. From January 1937 the roof space could be completely cleared and the sides of the saloon and the cabriolet were made from the same pressing so that both vehicles shared the same outline and the windows could be raised or lowered.
