Attack Squadron 12 (VA-12) was an aviation unit of the United States Navy. History:
12 May 1945: established as Fighting-Bombing Squadron 4 (VBF-4) "Flying Ubangis";
15 November 1946: redesignated Fighter Squadron 2A (VF-2A);
2 August 1948: redesignated VF-12;
1 September 1955: redesignated Attack Squadron 12 (VA-12), renamed "Clinchers" in 1982;
1 October 1986: disestablished.
