English: Ardencraig was a full rigged iron sailing vessel built in 1886 by Russell & Co Port Glasgow (yard. No. 149). Later owned by Crawford and Mowat. 1911 wrecked on Crim Ledge, Isles of Scilly. Struck in fog on passage Melbourne to Calais with Grain with no loss of life.
Dimensions: length = 277.7 ft (84.6 m) and tonnage = 2153 grt.[1]
