English: According to https://catalogs.marinersmuseum.org/object/ARI7631, the steamship Ancon was built in 1867 in New York as a tender; rebuilt 1873 as a sidewheeler by Henry Owens in San Francisco, for the Pacific Mail Steamship Co. It was wrecked August 28, 1889 at Loring, Alaska.
