The Alum Creek Dam is located in Alum Creek State Park, Delaware, Ohio. The Alum Creek Dam was started in 1970 and finished in 1974 by the Army Corps of Engineers to provide flood control of Alum Creek and provide another water source for Columbus, Ohio and the surrounding community. The Dam is 93 feet high and each tainter gate on the concrete structure is 34 feet by 25 feet.
