English: The Allard JR (sometimes called the J2R, which is also the code used in the chassis number) was a more aerodynamic, rebodied version of the cycle-fendered J2X. Developed for Allard's Le Mans effort in 1953, only seven were built. One went to Zora Arkus-Duntov, one to Sydney Allard, and five were sold to private buyers.
