English: Allanshaw was a full-rigged ship built 1874 by William Simons & Co Renfrew, Yard No 180 for JG Potter of Liverpool. Sold 1875 to H Lamont of Glasgow. On 23 March 1893 she was wrecked on Tristan da Cunha, when on route from Liverpool for Calcutta with a cargo of salt.
Her dimensions were 262.8 × 40.2 ft (80.1 × 12.2 m) and tonnage: 1674 GRT. .[1][2]
