Deutsch: Der Alfons-Huysmans-Ring in Neumühlen-Dietrichsdorf erinnert an den flämischen Zwangsarbeiter Alfons Huysmans (* 13. April 1922, † 11. April 1945), der ab Mai 1943 im Gemeinschaftslager Dietrichsdorf I gemeldet war. Kurz vor Kriegsende kam er im von den Nazis so genannten Arbeitserziehungslager Nordmark in Hassee ums Leben, vermutlich durch Gewalt oder Hunger. Der Name Huysmans steht stellvertretend für alle Menschen, die zwischen 1939 und 1945 im Stadtteil Zwangsarbeit leisten mussten. Mehr als hundert sind auf dem Friedhof Dietrichsdorf und in einem Massengrab am Feldweg Specken begraben.
English: The Alfons-Huysmans-Ring is a street in the district of Kiel Neumühlen-Dietrichsdorf. It commemorates the Flemish forced laborer Alfons Huysmans (* April 13, 1922, † April 11, 1945), who was registered in the Ccamp Dietrichsdorf I from May 1943 . Shortly before the end of the 2nd world war he died in what the Nazi called labor and education camp Nordmark in Kiel-Hassee, probably due to violence or starvation. The name Huysmans represents all the people who had to do forced labor in the district between 1939 and 1945. More than a hundred are buried in the Dietrichsdorf cemetery and in a mass grave on the field path Specken.
