Albert E. Ruff (1851, Glasgow - 1948, Los Angeles) was a Scottish born American music educator, violinist, and voice teacher. Trained at the Mannheim and Leipzig Conservatories, he began his career as a violinist in the orchestra of the Theatre Royal, Glasgow. He became a famous voice teacher in the United States and founded the Chicago College of Vocal Music. Some of his more famous pupils included opera singers Geraldine Farrar, Anna Case, Eugene Cowles, and Olive Fremstadt.
