To the east of the acropolis hill, with below it the stadion, and to the west of the baths, basilica, there is a large row of ruined buildings that housed the shops of the market area. The market area itself was further east into the direction of the theatre. Its open space is now filled with many fragments, probably waiting to be installed in future restorations. Researchers suppose the agora building had two floors, had a length of 150 meter, a width of 9 meter, rectangular doors and big arched doors in the western wall. To its south there is a wider building with several rooms and four arched doors. There also is a palaestra to the right of the agora building with across it the two civic baths.
