Trumpet Group is a cultivar group of selections and hybrids.

Leaf: evergreen or deciduous. inflorescence: bract opens either on 1 or 2 sides. Flower: trumpet-shaped, upright to horizontal to slightly facing downwards, the diameter can be of the same measurement as the length of the flower but is usually less, the segments are usually overlapping at least at the base or rarely not overlapping. Note: in some cultivars the segments are not overlapping but because of the flower diameter, which is less than the length of the flower, the cultivar is placed in the Trumpet Group.
