Permission for the construction was issued in September 2002. Originally it was planned to be a four-star hotel, later an office building, and then a hotel again. Several companies have been owners and were involved in the construction. In 2012 the building went under the hammer. In July 2014, the building was sold to the Krakow company APP Investments. So far the building remains abonden.
