  • Centered on a vertical rectangle arched at top and bottom, 2 inches (5.08 cm) in width and 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height overall, a scarlet arrowhead, its point upon the center of a blue gunsight symbol (a circle over crossed vertical and horizontal centerlines) and below the arrowhead three blue waves, all on a yellow background within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) scarlet border.'
  • Combat Service Identification Badge: A silver color metal and enamel device 2 inches (5.08 cm) in height consisting of a design similar to the shoulder sleeve insignia.

Symbolism

  1. Scarlet and yellow are the colors associated with Field Artillery.<
  2. The arrowhead and gunsight symbolize the basic mission of the Brigade and the waves in base refer to the many waterways of the State of Wisconsin, which is an Indian word meaning “gathering of the waters.
  3. The red arrowhead also denotes the unit’s long association with the 32nd Infantry Division.

  2. It was redesignated effective 2008-09-01, for the 157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade with the description and symbolism updated
