English: Grace Lutheran Church building, at Iberville Street at corner of Scott Street, Mid-City New Orleans. Completed in 1914. c. 1977 repurposed as "Christian's" restaurant, which became regionally famous. In August 2005, the Federal levee failure during Hurricane Katrina severely flooded the area and Christian's Restaurant never reopened. It was derelict for some years. In February 2011, "Redemption" restaurant opened in the space, closing 4 years later. In June 2016 "Vessel" restaurant opened in the space.
