1963 Aston Martin DB5 chassis DB5/1301/L, for auctioning at EUR 1,3 million in 2016.[1] Highlights:
- first DB5 off production line, 4,0 litre very similar to DB4 Series V Vantage
- originally Kensington silver over red interior.[2]
- one of few left-hand drive DB5
- originally sold to racecar driver Peter Lindner (1930–64) of Frankfurt, Germany
- sold to the US in 1970s, in 2001 sold to famous actor Nicholas Cage who (over)restored it, increased engine to 4,2 litre
