English: 185 Empty Chairs was an art installation in Christchurch, New Zealand. It remembered the 185 people who lost their lives as a result of the 22 February 2011 earthquake. It was initially located on the site of Oxford Terrace Baptist Church, and later diagonally across the road from the CTV Building, on the site of the former St Paul's Church. In 2021 the chairs were moved to a site of the St Lukes Anglican Church at the corner of Manchester and Kilmore Street. On 1 April 2023 the chairs were dispersed when the site was closed.
