English: The buildings located at 1211 (right) and 1225 (left) Wisconsin Avenue NW in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C., are contributing properties to the Georgetown Historic District. They were originally private residences built in 1794. Singer Roberta Flack launched her music career while working at 1225 Wisconsin Avenue NW, known as Mr. Henry's from 1967–1986, a predominantly gay bar. In addition, singer Tori Amos earned money at Mr. Henry's by playing the piano during the summer of 1977.
