118–132 London Road was a substantial postwar building on the east side of London Road in Brighton, England. It was home to a Boots Pharmacy (northern part, ground floor), Co-op food store (central and southern part, ground floor) and a Riley's snooker club (upper storeys, above Co-op; entrance at sotuheast corner). The block was acquired for redevelopment; Riley's closed in mid-2015; Boots closed on 20 September 2019; Co-op closed on 12 October 2019; and demolition took place in March 2020. The proposal in planning application BH2018/02699 stated: "Demolition of existing building and the erection of a five storey building with retail (A1 use class), community hub, student accommodation reception, laundry, plant room, bin store and cycle store at ground floor level, 232 student rooms (sui generis use class) at first, second, third and fourth levels, and solar PV array on the roof."
