This building was designed as a branch of the London and Midland Bank by William Bakewell and completed in 1892, with exterior stone carving by John Wormald Appletyard. In 1995, when it was listed Grade II by Historic England, it contained a branch of the Trustee Savings Bank. As of 2019 it was no longer a bank, and was being used as a venue containing fruit machines.
