The numbers are given as P1, P2 etc. following Petrie and Seán Ó Nualláin. Wood-Martin and some other authors following him have a numbering which differs from the original due to mixups. Where known, alternative numbers are given as well with reference to the author. Some of the sites have small wooden signposts carrying numbers, these match those of George Petrie.
