English: Charles Yelverton O'Conner (1843–1902) was the engineer who built the Coolgardie Goldfields Water Scheme and the Fremantle Harbour.
English: There are numerous places and structures named after him, North Coogee beach is now known as C.Y. O'Connor beach, there are statues and memorials at Mundaring weir, and Fremantle, as well as a suburb, many streets, and an Australian federal electorate named after him.
